This week we had a great time at our Team Day at Whitemoor Lakes! We took part in some great team building exercises including a ‘nightline’ where we completed an obstacle course blindfolded, and a very challenging assault course! We spent the afternoon focusing on Team Development, generating ideas on how to improve care, and our children and families’ experience of working with us. We also had an interesting workshop on Video Interaction Guidance Therapy, as well as a presentation from one of our team who is currently completing a PhD exploring autistic children’s experience of art therapy. Maybe next time we will attempt the raft building….
