Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in children and families. Sarah has specialist interests in attachment focused interventions, family mental health, as well as child neurodevelopment. She has extensive experience in the assessment of attachment and trauma related difficulties, including working with children who are looked after, and children who have been adopted or who are under special guardianship. Sarah also has expertise in the assessment of autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
She is passionate about working with children. Therapeutically, she specialises in trauma focused therapies, and attachment focused family interventions.
Qualifications
Sarah holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Lancaster, and a postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Neuropsychology from University College London. Sarah has published in the areas of professional issues for trainee psychologists, and reducing stigma in mental health services.
About Nature & Nurture Psychology
Nature and Nurture Psychology was established in 2019, and has grown into a multidisciplinary, holistic assessment and intervention provider for children and families in the Staffordshire area. Nature and Nurture Psychology also provides placements for NHS Trainee Clinical Psychologists, and Research Trainees undertaking Doctoral research in the area of child and family mental health.
