Amy qualified from the Universities of Coventry and Warwick with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2006. Since this time she has worked within the NHS in CAMHS and CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Services. This work has included assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions including ASD and ADHD and work with children, young people and their families where there are mental health difficulties. Amy has extensive experience of working with young people from preschool age through to late adolescence.
Specialities & Interests
Therapeutically, Amy specialises in EMDR, Attachment-based principles and has an interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. She is passionate about working with young people with neurodevelopmental differences and those who have experienced developmental trauma.
