Our services
What we do
Our services
We provide a number of different services for children. Please see below for a list of all services or contact us to find out more.
Psychological Assessment
We specialise in comprehensive psychological assessment of children and families. We complete multidisciplinary assessments for autism, and other neurodevelopmental differences. We also specialise in assessing children who have been affected by trauma including neglect, loss of caregivers, domestic violence, and other adverse childhood experiences. We assess the challenges faced by families caring for traumatised children, and provide robust recommendations for the family, education, and further therapy.
Therapeutic Support
We provide support to families and caregivers who have adopted children or are caring for children who have been affected by developmental trauma. Developmental trauma is adversity that occurs during the key stages of a child’s development, and these children and families often need ongoing therapeutic support by clinicians who specialise in childhood trauma.
Fetal alcohol disorder (FASD)
Our service and clinicians have a special interest in children who have had alcohol or drug exposed pregnancies. The effects of this are often described as Fetal Alcohol Disorder. Children who have had alcohol and / or drug exposed pregnancies may present with a range of differences and challenges linked to this, including difficulties with thinking skills such as attention and planning.
